Their Supplications are Accepted with Certainty
1. A destitute and helpless person.
2. An oppressed person, even if he is a non-believer or sinful.
3. Parent’s du’a for their children.
4. The du’a of a just king or ruler.
5. The du’a of a righteous person.
6. Du’a of children who are kind and obedient to their parents.
7. Du’a of the wayfarer.
8. The du’a of a fasting person at the time of breaking the fast.
9. A Muslim’s du’a for another in his or her absence.
10. Every du’a of a Muslim, so long as it is not for oppression or severing blood ties.
11. The pilgrim’s du’a until he or she returns home.

Good Akhlaaq
Allah Ta’ala has said:
“Most certainly, you (O Muhammad!) have been created on a great character.”
Below is a list of praiseworthy chracteristics and attributes that all Muslims should try to adopt:
1. To believe oneself to be the most inferior. Its’ opposite is takabbur (pride).
2. Kindness to creation and to tolerate the difficulties and inconveniences they cause one.
3. Tenderness and cheerfulness and to abandon anger.
4. Sympathy for others and to give preference to them. This implies priority to the rights of others over one’s pleasures.
5. To be generous.
6. To overlook the wrongs of others and to forgive them.
7. To abstain from pretence.
8. To spend in moderation, without being miserly or wasteful.
9. To have trust in Allah.
10. To be contented with little worldly possessions.
11. To adopt piety.
12. To refrain from arguing, quarreling and being wrathful except for the truth.
13. To abstain from malice and envy.
14. To abstain from the desire of respect and fame.
15. To fulfill promises.
16. To be tolerant, far-sighted and supportive of brothers.
17. Gratitude to the benefactor.
18. To sacrifice reputation for the sake of Muslims.

Going Through a Phase
Hadhrat Haji Imdaadullah (RA) said:
“Even if you are doing an act of goodness for the sake of riyaa’ (showing-off), don’t abandon it. While initially it will be riyaa’, later by constancy it will be transformed into aadat (habit). Ultimately, the aadat will become ibaadat.”

Preferred Attitude
These ten attitudes will prove greatly beneficial in this world and the Hereafter:
1. Truth with sincerity
2. Justice with creation
3. Wrath with the lower self
4. Service to the saints
5. Love and mercy upon the little ones
6. Generosity with the dervishes
7. Advice and admonition to friends
8. Patience with enemies
9. Silence with ignoramuses
10. Humility with the scholars

Friend of Allah
A man who has in him these three characteristics may regard himself to be Allah’s friend:
1. Generosity like the sea
2. Affection like the sun
3. Humility like the ground
