Reality of Bay’ah
The reality of bay’ah is this that a person has firm conviction regarding the one who imparts knowledge to them. Meaning that they should have certainty that this person is my well-wisher and whatever counsel they give would be the most beneficial for me. One should be at complete ease and be comfortable with this person. There should be no room for one’s own opinions regarding the counsel of the shaikh. It should be implemented in totality without objection.
