Virginia Tech: Why?

In regards to the killings which occured Virginia Tech, the underlying reason behind the whole incident was undoubtedly the sickness of the soul which had reached detrimental proportions. The incident clearly demonstrates the verse of the Qur’an, ” qad aflaha man zakkaha wa qad khaba man dassaa haa”… Truly he succeeds, who purifies (and rectifies) his soul…and he who corrupts (his soul) will be in everlasting failure (91:9-10).Allah Ta`ala and Rasulullah sallallahu alaihi wa sallam have warned us against and explained the method of remedy from this destructive spiritual disease of Ghadhab (uncontrollable anger) in the Quran and ahaadith.
