Request to the Readers
Bismihi Ta’ala,
Assalaamu ‘Alaykum Wa Rahmatullah Wa Barakatuh,
I pray that everyone is in a state of ‘aafiyah. Alhamdulillah, things are well but also life has become a bit busy and hectic. As you have most likely noticed, the frequency of posts has drastically decreased. This is due to my own personal shortcomings and lack of himmah. Keeping in line with the tradition of our Grand-Shaykh, Hakeem-ul-Ummah (RA) who said something to the effect of whenever I find myself lacking in something, I would give a lecture about it so that it would be part of my routine. I thought to mention a specific point and virtue of the posts and blogs of this nature.
Alhamdulillah, we have been blessed with the tawfeeq of Allah to be able to, for about the past five years, on an off, make available to malfuzaat of the Mashaaikh of our silsilah. Some people object by saying, “Why do you make such a big deal over the sayings of these men? Should you not make a greater effort to propagate the Quran and Hadith?”
The objection is valid and may Allah reward these people for their sincerity. However, they fail to realize that quoting the righteous, mentioning their malfuzaat and mawaa’iz is aSunnah Ilaahiyah, the sunnah of Allah. Allah Himself has shown us the importance of the malfuzaat of the pious. Surah Luqman is obviously named after Luqman (AS), regarding whom the correct opinion is that he was not a prophet. In this particular surah, Allah has extensively quoted this pious man’smawaaiz (advice) to his son. From this we can see the importance and virtue of this particular act. It is sufficient to note that it is a sunnah of Allah Ta’ala Himself.
That being said and acknowledging my own feebleness and weakness, I would like to request a few things from the readers if I may. Firstly, I would like everyone to make dua’ that this blog goes through a revival and we once again are able put posts regularly as was done a few years ago. Secondly, in order to facilitate this, I would like to request the readers themselves to note down malfuzaat of the shuyookh of our silsilah themselves. This can be from translations, lectures, and books, etc. Thereafter please email the blog at annoorblog@gmail.com. I would like to ask for your assistance in keeping this blog running regularly. Insha Allah, once I receive an email from someone, I will go through it and post it. I figured, why limit this to myself? The blog is for our mutual benefit, for us to learn and put into practice Insha Allah. There are other blogs where the students of a particular shaykh email the malfuzaat they have noted down and then are posted on to a blog. I think this should have been done a lot earlier, but as they say, “dair aayad durust aayad” i.e. better late than never.
I hope that I have everyone’s dua’s and support to make this happen. I also realize that if you are maintaining your own set of malfuzaat, you could very well have a blog or website of your own. True, and to that I say the more the merrier, but we also need to share the khayr. :)
I pray to Allah that He reward all those people that will make dua’ for this and all those people that will Insha Allah submit entries to be posted with the best of both worlds.
Jazakumullahu khayran.
Wassalaamu ‘Alaykum Wa Rahmatullah Wa Barakatuh

Assalamoualaykum wa wa
Jazakallah for this request. You are doing a very great service to Islam – May Allah reward you abundantly for this. What you have requested is very good and commendable and shows your sincerity.
I would like to offer humbly offer this advice and that is when people send you malfoozat, then you should try and make every effort to check it, otherwise as may know there are many enemies of Islam and it’s pious personalities and they (enemies) could try and blacken the name of our shyoukh by surreptitiously attributing wrong sayings about.
May Allah guide us all, give us the proper love of our ustaadhs and Mashaaikhs and fill our hearts with the the love of Allah, his prophets and the sahabahs and give us all the ability to act with sincerity on their sayings.
Finally I urge you to make remember me and mine in your kind duas.
Was salaam
