Sips and Slips

The following is some correspondence between Hazrat Thanwi (RA) and a mureed.

Hazrat (RA): Has the spiritual sickness of lustful gazing been successfully treated?

Mureed: Yes, at most occasions I am able to control myself and abstain from lustful glances.  However, rarely there a few slips.

Hazrat (RA): This is similar to a person claiming sobriety from alcohol but admitting to a few rare sips.
